I found Alex through a recommendation on a Facebook gtoup and what a find he was! I hired him to fix a loose toilet roll holder that i couldn’t get off. I called his business late on Saturday night and he responded within an hour and scheduled to come out Sunday he had it fixed and securely in place in no time! He also looked at some chipped and cracked tile I have in the kitchen and instead of ripping up the floor he has given me a much cheaper work around. I hired Alex to repair a privacy screen that had been blown over by the wind storms earlier this year, which completely snapped the metal stakes that held the screens in the soil. He was incredibly resourceful (he decided to secure the screens directly into the brick) and professional, walking me through every step of his process. His work was so thorough and well done, I asked him to come back and add another panel to the privacy screen, which was done with much efficiency. And again, he took the extra step to make sure it would be stable by fastening it to the wall. He definitely knows what he’s doing and will do whatever it takes to meet your expectations and act on your home improvement visions. We hired Alex to reinstall a glass storm door that came out of its frame in the latest 3-day wind storm in Boston! We were sure this would be a huge job, but Alex was able to diagnose what he needed to do and stayed very close to his estimate (rebuild the frame - not an easy feat. This is an old house that has settled and shifted, not exactly level). He installed it and it fits the frame even better than before! Had a stuck pocket door and he managed to diagnose, troubleshoot and install a beautiful handle in case it gets stuck again. Had a few other issues around the house like loose cabinetry and mechanical door lock issues and he was able to resolve them within a few visits. He is very affordable, responsive to texts and requests, and excellent at his craft.
